In Israel there are more than 12,000 women, men and children working in the sex industry.
We view prostitution as modern-day-slavery and a scourge to our nation.
For more than eight years, JIJ’s initiatives through Project NOA (Not Objects Anymore) have led the fight to eradicate prostitution in Israel. We have done this by education, policy development, nation social media campaigns and community collaborations to raise awareness and change public perception.
Project NOA promotes legislative change and the adoption of the Swedish model that advocates for the criminalization of the client of sex services and it serves as a voice for the voiceless.
Anti-Prostitution Social Awareness Campaigns – Israeli public opinion regarding the damaging effect of prostitution on society as a whole varies greatly, we are working to change this.
